Myth: You hire a Realtor to find your home...
Fact: True, but that is only a small part of what a Realtor does. Many times, the home buyer knows the exact neighborhood or area the want to live in. Sometimes buyers notice a sign or hear from a friend or family member about a home that just went on the market. Hiring a Realtor backs YOU up. Myth: I don't need a Realtor if I can find my own home...
Fact: It's a fact that not all homes even make it to the public market before they're sold. The seller or builder is not going to sell you the home for any less just because you're not using a Realtor - and using a Realtor does not affect the selling price of a home. Once a property has hit the web, there is a high chance the information has already changed. In addition, there are dozens of homes that were for sale days, weeks, months and even years ago that are still showing up for sale on the internet and are no longer available.
